Murder-suicide: Man Found Dead In Chester County Closet Authorities in Chester County are investigating a murder-suicide on Tuesday, Jan. 2, they said. West Goshen police responded to a home on the 400 block of Hightop Road for a welfare check on 41-year-old Derek Calzadillas, who relatives said hadn't heard from him in 24 hours, Chester County District Attorney Christopher De Barrena-Sarobe said. Through the window, responders saw a man lying unresponsive on the floor. Former Westtown-East Goshen Police Officer, Firefighter Dies At 73 David MacIntyre, a Lancaster resident and former officer with the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department, died on Saturday, May 6, his old department announced. He was 73.  A graduate of B. Reed Henderson High School in West Chester, MacIntyre spent seven years with the Westtown-East Goshen department, his loved ones wrote in his obituary.  Police said MacIntyre was among the first part-time officers to serve the region after the department was formed in 1981.
