They did not specifically explain what the incident was but said it did not pose a threat to the public. Fire Company Treasurer Embezzled $900K, Berks DA Claims The treasurer of a Berks County fire company is accused of stealing nearly $900,000 over a period of seven years, prosecutors say.  Kenneth J.
