Crash Closes Road In East Manchester Township: Police A motor vehicle accident has shut down a roadway in East Manchester Township, police announced on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 7:43 p.m. The crash happened in the 3660 North Sherman Street Extension, near Mount Wolf, according to the police. The closure is necessary for accident reconstruction efforts.  Entrapment was initially reported according to emergency dispatch, but injuries have not been confirmed.  Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes. Missing Endangered Alert Canceled Pennsylvania Man Found In Maryland A missing endangered person alert has been canceled for a South Central Pennsylvania man who was last seen in Maryland, police announced Wednesday night, Oct. 9.  Harry Joseph Runkle was just 10 days shy of his 77th birthday when he went missing, according to the York County Regional Police.  Runkle is from the 4900 block of N. Sherman Street in Mount Wolf, East Manchester Township, police explained. He had last been seen at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9. He could be driving a 2005 Grey Hyundai Santa Fe with the PA license plate "ERG7345."…

Details Released About York 16-Year-Old Only Child Struck Dead By Norfolk Southern Train A 16-year-old boy, who was an only child, was struck dead by a Norfolk Southern train on Sunday night, Aug. 11, authorities said.  Walter Muzyk of the 700 block of York Street in East Manchester Township, Mount Wolf, "intentionally placed himself in the path of the Norfolk Southern train around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, 8/11/2024, at which time the train struck him accidentally, causing his death," as stated in the coroner's release.  At 11:25 pm on Sunday night, the "York County 911 Center received a call from a Norfolk Southern train conductor who said a male had been struck …
