A New Jersey fugitive wanted in a deadly train station shooting and a home invasion was arrested in northeastern Pennsylvania, authorities said. U.S. Marshals took 19-year-old Damian Bass into custody, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said in a news release on Friday, Sept. 6. Bass' last known address was in Fanwood. Traffic Stop Turns Up Loaded Gun In Passenger's Pocket, Rochelle Park PD Says
A passenger wanted on a warrant was carrying a loaded gun in his pocket when an Rochelle Park police officer stopped the sedan he was in, authorities said. Officer Chris Kiszka stopped the 2004 Toyota Solara driven by Raymond Hood, 30, of Palmerton, PA for several violations on West Passaic Street around 9 p.m. Friday, Rochelle Park Police Lt. Prosecutor: NJ Boy, 14, Driving Stolen Car Shot Dead By PA Man
Two people have been charged in the shooting death of a 14-year-old boy at a New Jersey gas station over the weekend. Tamir Phillips, 22, of Bensalem, PA, and Chelsea Holman, 29, of Willingboro, NJ, were arrested in the death of Jesse Everett on Aug. 21, the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office announced Tuesday. Jose Serrano-Robles, 43, of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, has been charged with attempted murder and weapons offenses following gunfire in incident that occurred in the early morning hours of August in Seaside Heights, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. A 36-year-old man was in custody Friday morning after a nearly 5-hour standoff with police in Berks County that began Thursday night, authorities said. Sean M. Butler Jr. had allegedly assaulted and threatened his wife with a firearm inside a home on the 2200 block of Spring Street in Spring Township around 10 p.m, according to Deputy Chief of the Spring Police Department, Stephen Powell.
