Former Miss USA Leaps To Her Death From NYC High-Rise
Former Miss USA Cheslie Kryst leaped to her death from a New York City highrise on Sunday, the New York Post reports. Kryst, 30, lived on the ninth floor of the Orion building at 350 W. 42nd, but jumped from a 29th-floor terrace around 7:15 a.m., police told the outlet. Lancaster County Schools Named After Slave-Owners To Be Renamed In Honor Black-Female Teachers
Two schools in the School District of Lancaster will be renamed to honor Black-female community leaders. The school board voted on the new names at a board meeting on Thursday night. Edward Hand Middle School, which was temporarily called Southeast Middle School since mid-2020, will be renamed- Hazel I. Jackson Middle School. Philadelphia Police Requested Federal Agents To 'Infiltrate' BLM Protests, Emails Show
The Philadelphia police department has asked federal agents to ‘infiltrate’ social justice marches last June, according to emails obtained by DC think tank Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington. A Philadelphia police sergeant asked a Drug Enforcement Agency agent to assign personnel to “infiltrate crowds for intel purposes” on June 2, the emails say.
