Jessica Blair Turtzo, 42, was stopped on Sullivan Trail and Zucksville Road on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024, at 8:16 p.m., during a DUI enforcement detail, Forks Township police said. The officer reported smelling alcohol and burnt marijuana coming from the car, and Turtzo allegedly admitted to drinking shortly before driving. Forks Township Man Charged With Raping Acquaintance, Police Say A 27-year-old man has been charged with raping a woman he knew in Forks Township, authorities said on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Eddie Cary Colon was charged with felony rape by forcible compulsion and indecent assault by forcible compulsion, a misdemeanor, Fork Township police said in a press release. Forks Township police officers responded to the 1000 block of George Street for a reported disturbance on Sept. 11 shortly before 3 p.m. Colon was arraigned and bail was set at $100,000, according to court records. Easton Man Dies Swimming In Delaware River: Coroner A 60-year-old Easton resident died while swimming in the Delaware River on Wednesday, July 24, according to the Northampton County Coroner's Office.  Louis A. Cosenza's body was recovered from the river in Williams Township, officials said in a release.  He was "using a floatation device" when he went into the water for an unknown reason and didn't resurface, the Coroner's Office said. Lehigh Valley Man Dies Tubing On Delaware River: Coroner Officials have identified the Pennsylvania man who drowned while tubing in on the Delaware River on Saturday, July 6.  Gary M. Conley, 53, of Forks Township, was on a tube on the Delaware River when he went into the water and "did not return to the surface," said the Northampton County Coroner's Office.  Bystanders pulled him to the shore and performed CPR until he could be taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus, authorities said.
