Mom Dies In Fatal Pennsylvania Apartment Fire, Community Rallies To Help Family After the death of a Berks County mom in an apartment fire, the community has rallied to help her grieving family. Amy Valentine couldn't escape from her burning apartment building in the 3400 block of Kutztown Road in Muhlenberg Township on Friday, Nov. 1, a GoFundMe campaign started by Valentine's daughter, Lexi Shuey, states. "I'm raising funds for my mom's funeral. Man ID'd After Fatal Fire In Pottstown: Coroner Man ID'd After Fatal Fire In Pottstown: Coroner
Man ID'd After Fatal Fire In Pottstown: Coroner A 53-year-old man died after the early morning blaze in Pottstown on Thursday, May 30, according to officials.  Bradley Ludwig died from complications of thermal burns and smoke inhalation, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. The manner of death was ruled accidental.  Authorities have said the fire broke out on the fifth floor of the Robert P. Smith Towers, 501 High Street, just after 6 a.m. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
