Gerald Brown was taken into custody by the Harrisburg Bureau of Police on Monday, April 7, 2025, after investigators uncovered a large cache of pornographic material he allegedly created and collected, much of it involving unsuspecting minors.
Brown has been charged with the following:
- Four counts of Felony Dissemination of Photo/Film of Child Sex Acts.
- Five counts of Felony Child Sexual Abuse Material.
- Three counts of Felony Photographing/Filming/Depicting Sexual Acts on Computer.
Felony Burglary — Overnight Accommodation, No Person Present.
Felony Criminal Solicitation — Dissemination of Child Sex Abuse Materials.
Misdemeanor Selling Obscene Sexual Materials.
Misdemeanor Indecent Assault of a Person Less Than 13 Years of Age.
Misdemeanor Corruption of Minors.
Misdemeanor Invasion of Privacy.
Many of the offenses allegedly occurred on December 28, 2024, and one incident dates back to January 1987, according to court documents.
Brown’s warrant was issued on Monday, January 20, 2025, by Magisterial District Judge Hanif L. Johnson Sr.
He remained one of Harrisburg's most wanted until his arrest.
Police say the investigation is ongoing. Anyone who believes they may have been victimized by Brown, or who has information about the material he allegedly created, is urged to contact the Harrisburg Police Bureau at 717-558-6900. A Crime Stoppers reward may be available.
