Thieves in Seattle made off with more than 500 eggs earlier this month, just days before a massive heist in Pennsylvania, where 100,000 organic eggs were stolen from a distribution site, authorities said.
In Seattle, two suspects were caught on camera stealing 540 eggs and other breakfast supplies from a restaurant’s refrigerated storage shed on Feb. 5. $40K In Eggs Stolen From Distribution Trailer: PA State Police
Amid the avian flu outbreak, authorities are investigating the theft of "high-value goods" from a Pennsylvania business, State Police announced on Tuesday, Feb. 4.
Approximately 100,000 organic eggs, valued at $40,000, were stolen from a distribution trailer at Pete and Gerry's Organics in Antrim Township, according to PSP Chambersburg.
The theft occurred sometime overnight on Saturday, Feb. 1, at the Commerce Avenue facility, troopers detailed in the release.
Investigators are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact PSP Chambersburg at 717-264-5161.
Sibling Sexually Assaults 11-Year-Old Brother, PA State Police Say
A Pennsylvania boy has reported being sexually assaulted by a sibling, prompting an investigation by state police, officials announced on Monday, Feb. 3, 2025.
The assault occurred at a home on Uffers Road in Coopersburg and was reported earlier this year, authorities said. After conducting an investigation starting on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2024, Pennsylvania State Police closed the case and filed charges against the sibling.
