School Names Mom, Daughter Killed By Apparent Carbon Monoxide Poisoning
School officials have named two of the three family members who died in an apparent carbon monoxide poisoning incident in Northeast Philadelphia this week. They were mother and daughter Maricel Martinez, 47, and Angelina Cardona, 12, said Saint Albert the Great Catholic School of Huntingdon Valley in a statement. Family Killed, Carbon Monoxide Possible Cause, Philadelphia Police Say
A family of three is suspected to have been killed by carbon monoxide in Philadelphia, police said. Firefighters and police officers were called to perform a wellness check on the family in a home on the 4000 block of Ashburner Street at 12:53 p.m. on Feb. 15, according to a PPD. They found a 47-year-old mom, the 56-year-old dad, and their 12-year-old daughter unresponsive, city police detailed in the release.
