"In an effort to ensure the safety of the motoring public and the citizens of the Commonwealth during these summer month," Pennsylvania State Police says it has set up targeted enforcement and DUI checkpoints throughout the state to deter people from driving while impaired.
A Sobriety Checkpoint within Hamilton Township, Adams County on Saturday night led to the following five arrests:
- Andrew Alwine, 44, DUI alcohol
- Kelly Rice, 46, DUI alcohol
- Vickie Hoffheins, 62, DUI alcohol.
- Madeline Ribot, 31, is charged with DUI for drugs.
- Bradley Hilbert, 50, of York Haven, has been changed with Fleeing & Eluding. He is being held on $5,000. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 21 at 10 a.m.
The court documents for the DUI arrests have not been filed as of the time of publishing.
The State Police thanks the public for their cooperation as police work to keep roads safe this summer.
