SWAT Standoff Ends Peacefully In Honey Brook: Report
UPDATE: A SWAT standoff ended peacefully Thursday, April 28 in Honey Brook, Daily Local reports. PA State Police, local police, and the Chester County Emergency Response Team were dispatched, along with EMS, on a report of a barricaded person with a gun on Patton Drive in Lazy Acres mobile home around 9:15 a.m., the outlet says. After several hours of negotiations, the man peacefully surrendered around 3:30 p.m., according to the outlet. No injuries were reported. Route 322 was temporarily closed due to the incident. A 63-year-old Saddle Brook man was hospitalized after an hours-long SWAT team standoff at his home. Saddle Brook police received a report of a “resident in distress” at the Saddle Brook Apartments on Finnigan Avenue at 2:45 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, said Capt. John A. Authorities in Bucks County are searching for a man who they say was involved in a road rage shooting and ignited a SWAT standoff at a Bristol Borough home Tuesday night. The incident began when there was a verbal altercation between two drivers in the area of the Bristol Borough Post Office around 8 p.m., local police said. One driver attempted to leave but was chased by the operator of a red SUV, with New York License plates.
