Drunk Charged For Head-On Lancaster Crash Hospitalizing 2 People: PSP
A drunk driver who caused a serious head-on that sent two people to the hospital has been charged, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Thursday. Gary Testerman Jr., 36, of Willow Street (previously of Buck and Quarryville according to public records) had a blood alcohol level nearly two times the legal limit when he caused the serious head-on crash on Sept. 23, 2023, Trooper James Grothey explained in the release. Driver Struck By Train, Pushed 200 Feet, Police In Pennsylvania Say
A 29-year-old man was driving a car that stopped train tracks and ending up getting pushed and rolled off the tracks, police announced on Wednesda night. Kaden Stetler of Horseshoe Road in Lancaster was driving a silver 2009 Ford Edge that stopped on the tracks in the 300 block of Willow Road for an unknown reason shortly before 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 6, according to East Lampeter Township police. A Norfolk Southern train struck Steltler's Ford on the passenger side – pushing it approximately 200 feet – then the car "dislodged" and rolled off of the tracks, the police said. …

Amish Couple Killed When Horse-Buggy Struck By Truck In PA: Coroner
An Amish couple was killed when their horse-and-buggy was struck by a pick-up truck in Central Pennsylvania on Sunday, authorities say. Jacob M. Stoltzfus, 71, was driving the horse-drawn buggy west with his 70-year-old wife, Annie B. Beiler Stoltzfus riding along as a passenger near 528 Valley Road, Eden Township when they were struck at 5:55 a.m. on Aug. 6, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.
