Whatley posted a video of a woman being led away from a line at a Delaware County voting center on his X, formerly Twitter, account on Monday, Oct. 28.

"A supporter of President Trump's was arrested today for encouraging people to stay in the early voting line and cast their ballots freely in Pennsylvania," Whatley said in the post. "This follows reports from across the commonwealth that voters are being turned away in conservative areas."

Val Biancaniello, the woman who had been arrested, replied to Whatley's post.

"That is me in the video being handcuffed and taken away," she said in her reply. "I broke NO laws. On the other hand, the Bureau of Elections worker telling everyone in line that they 'should only be in this line if you have a pressing reason to vote' is VOTER SUPPRESSION."

Biancaniello claimed in the post that she was taken to a holding room, patted down, and handcuffed to a bench. She was given a citation for disorderly conduct, according to the post.

Court documents were not available at publication time.

Delaware County Director of Elections Jim Allen told NBC 10 that Biancaniello was arrested for disorderly conduct following complaints from some voters at the Government Center Building in Media.

“Park Police approached the person, asked them to follow the rules or leave and they said they weren’t going to leave and they weren’t going to stop so they were charged with disorderly conduct,” Allen said in the NBC 10 report.

Daily Voice reached out to the Delaware County Bureau of Elections and the Park Police for comments but received no responses at the time of publication.
