Elizabeth Pollard Found Dead Into PA Sinkhole
UPDATE: Elizabeth Pollard, 64, of Unity Township, has been found dead in the 30-foot sinkhole Pennsylvania State Police were searching for her in after she disappeared while looking for a cat, Westmoreland County Coroner Tim Carson confirmed on Friday morning, Dec. 6. 8 Flat Tires In One Morning Prompts Sinkholes Repairs On Rt 222: PennDOT
After eight drivers got flat tires driving over sinkholes on Route 222, repairs are underway, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and a local fire company announced on Monday, Aug. 5. All the flat tires were experienced in the morning commute along 222N at mile marker 37.2 just north of the Brownstown exit before Pool Road the West Earl Fire Company explained around 5:48 a.m. at 7:13 the PennDOT road crews arrived to complete the scheduled repairs. Sinkhole Opens Up, Closing Roads In Central Pennsylvania
A sinkhole has opened up closing a major roadway in Lititz, authorities say. The Lititz Borough Public Works is repairing the sinkhole which was discovered on Wednesday, Dec. 7 around 7:00 a.m., according to a release by the area police. The hole is on Raspberry Lane near the intersection of East Orange Street. Raspberry Lane has been closed from East Orange Street to Lock-up Lane.
