5 Dead In Allegheny County Home Explosion
The death toll has risen to five in a home explosion in an area outside of Pittsburgh this weekend. The home explosion at at 141 Rustic Ridge Dr. in Plum (Allegheny County) Saturday morning, Aug. 12, destroyed three houses, with four adults and one adolescent dead as of Sunday afternoon, county officials said. Three more victims were taken to area hospitals: Two were in stable condition and have since been released from the hospital, and the third individual remains critical. 'Respectful' PA Teen Shot In Chest After Grandma's Funeral, Family Says
A 16-year-old boy was gunned down the same day as his maternal grandmother's funeral, according to his family. Dominic Sanner of Homestead, West Mifflin Township was shot in the chest while standing between two homes in the 100 block of East 17th Street at 11:27 p.m. on Friday, May 5, 2023, Allegheny County police explained in a release the following afternoon. A missing street preacher from Pennsylvania has been "found alive and well" in Puerto Rico, authorities announced in a press conference on Thursday, March 2, 2023. A 15-year-old boy was sent more than 25 nude images and videos by an Allegheny County Controller's office employee, police allege in court documents obtained by Daily Voice. PA Corrections Officer Resigns Two Days After Prison Video Catches Him Selling Inmate Drugs
A security camera at an Allegheny County jail supposedly captured the moment now-former corrections officer, 34-year-old Raymond Toomey sold an inmate drugs, according to a release by county officials. A review of CCTV footage confirmed a tip by Internal Affairs that suspected synthetic cannabinoids or K2 was in the section of the facility where Toomey worked.
