A 56-year-old Jeep driver tried escaping from his sinking vehicle after running a red light hitting multiple vehicles then becoming submerged in Neshaminy Creek, the Bucks County Courier Times reports citing a news release. The incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20. It started when the red 2014 Jeep ran the light on Newportville Road onto Bristol Pike and struck a pickup truck, the outlet said quoting Bristol police. Arson Suspected In Fire Near Philly Area Middle School
A small fire in a storage shed near a Bucks County middle school appears to have been the work of an arsonist, according to authorities. Bensalem fire officials were called to a storage shed behind Snyder Middle School on Hulmeville Road just after 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 16, the department said on Facebook. There, firefighters quickly contained and extinguished the flames, officials wrote. No injuries were reported. Tanker-Truck Catastrophe Averted In Bucks County
A tanker truck fire that nearly expanded into a larger disaster was quickly brought under control in Bucks County early Tuesday, authorities said. The fire was reported at about 1:05 a.m. in the parking lot of Quala Wash at 1000 Imperial Court in Bensalem, officials said. The fire was contained to the cab portion of a tanker truck.
