A West Chester man is charged with aggravated assault and related counts after allegedly biting medics as they rendered aid, officials say.
Borough police said they were called about a medical incident on the 300 block of West Chestnut Street around 8:15 p.m. on Dec. 26.
When EMTs arrived and began to help Brian K. Thompson Jr., police said he bit two members of the Good Fellowship Ambulance Company, "causing injuries."

A Berks County man who shot another at a Spring Township home over the weekend was spotted by police trying to climb out of a window to escape arrest, authorities claim in a release.
It happened around 11 p.m. on Friday, May 5, Spring police wrote. The victim, an unnamed man, was visiting a woman near Cleveland and Morwood avenues when a gunman chased him out of the house, investigators believe.

A Monroe County man faces criminal trespassing charges for allegedly trying to sneak into a police impound lot and remove marijuana from his confiscated car, authorities say.
Leroy Litus, 23, of Tobyhanna, was pulled over by Pocono Township police for a traffic stop around 3 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12, the department said.

A woman in Chester County is charged with corrupting minors after cops say she cheered on a child during a fistfight.
Arielis Vargas, 30, of Kennett Square, escorted a "juvenile child" to a location so the youth could fight another child, police claimed in a statement.
Investigators said that video from the incident shows Vargas "shouting and encouraging the juveniles to fight," and filming the bout herself.
