Victims ID'd In Deadly Montco House Fire, But Cause Still Unclear
Officials in Montgomery County are still working to identify the cause of the early morning house fire that killed one man and one woman in Hatfield on Friday, May 12. The Hatfield Volunteer Fire Company was called to the home, 2873 Washington Lane, at about 4:20 a.m., they wrote in a release Friday afternoon. Dispatchers advised that the blaze on the first floor had trapped two people upstairs, the Company said. North Penn School Employee Charged In Fatal Hit-Run Of 83-Year-Old
A Montgomery County school district employee is accused of fatally hitting an 83-year-old man with his car before fleeing the scene. Nicholas M. Shaw, 26, of Hatfield, is charged with a felony for the hit-and-run that killed Linford Michener on his own property on Oct. 27, said District Attorney Kevin R. Steele in a statement Friday, Jan. 13. An arrest warrant has been issued for the suspected gunman in the November 2020 shooting death of Ebony Pack -- and authorities believe he fled to Honduras with Pack's girlfriend's ex-boyfriend. Terrance Marche, 47, of King of Prussia, is wanted on a first-degree murder charge in the Nov. 28, 2020 shooting death of 30-year-old Pack, Montgomery County DA's Office said. A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in the shooting death of a 30-year-old Lansdale woman in her car.
