A Lynnewood Elementary School teacher is accused of masturbating in Perkasie's Lenape Park, according to a criminal complaint filed in a Bucks County court. Matthew P. Gagat, 47, is charged with open lewdness, court records show. A witness called police to the park late on June 27 and described seeing a man who "appeared to be touching himself," police wrote in the affidavit. A 52-year-old Bucks County woman has been charged after her dog was found running loose, again. A white German Shepherd belonging to Heather M. Fitzgerald, of Passer Road in Coopersburg, was found off her property and "not under reasonable control," Springfield police said. A Bucks County man had been making straw purchases of firearms before illegally reselling the guns on the streets for over a decade, authorities say. Frederick Cornelius Brown Jr., 63, of Croydon, was convicted in a Bucks County court on 34 counts of illegal firearm transferring and knowingly falsifying documents, said state Attorney General Michelle Henry in a release. A Philadelphia man who kidnapped a Bucks County teen at knifepoint and threatened to kill his family will spend decades behind bars, officials say. Pavel Belous, 37, was sentenced to four consecutive 10-to-20-year sentences for a total of 40 to 80 years in prison, said Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub in a statement Wednesday, Nov. 9.
