Situated in rugged mountains rising from the west bank of the Hudson River, this park is known for its stunning landscapes and endless outdoor adventures, making it a favorite getaway for locals and visitors alike, per its website.

The park features a large play field, a merry-go-round, shaded picnic groves, and fishing access to both the lake and river as well as hiking, biking, and cross-country ski trails that weave through the park’s varied terrain, per the park's website.
