New Series Filming Upcoming Season In Hudson Valley: Here's When, Where Scenes for an upcoming television series are set to be filmed in parts of Rockland County later this month.  The shoot is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 17, from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., and will take place in Sparkill, according to the Town of Orangetown.  Carmel Reilly, Orangetown’s Director of Economic Development and Tourism, said the production is “a new series, in its second season.” She added she preferred not to identify the show to avoid disruptions.  Filming will center around Depot Square, with most scenes taking place at Noble Café, The Grape D’Vine, and Paulding Place.…

Woman Hits Construction Flagger With Car, Drives Away In NY: Police A woman was arrested after allegedly striking a construction flagger with her vehicle in Dutchess County and driving away, authorities said.  The incident happened just after 9 a.m. in Beacon on Route 9D on Wednesday, Sept. 3, according to New York State Police.  Troopers said a flagger was directing traffic in a construction zone when a driver bypassed two cars stopped at a temporary traffic signal. Route 304 Reopens After Low Wires Fixed At NY Intersection (Update) A stretch of Route 304 in Rockland County has reopened after briefly being closed to traffic due to low-hanging wires, police said.  The closure affected the northbound lanes at West Nyack Road in Clarkstown on Monday afternoon, Aug. 11, according to the Clarkstown Police Department.  The roadway has since reopened as of 3 p.m.
