The 2024 Daily Voice Readers' Choice contest to name the Best of the Best in the Hudson Valley began with reader nominations in October and ended with a voting period for finalists in 80+ categories in December.

According to its website, Thai Golden is a family-owned restaurant and café that prides itself on serving the finest home-style Thai cuisine in the Lower Hudson Valley area. 

In 2016, Thai Golden expanded to include a café, which allowed the restaurant to experiment with more drinks, live music, and art parties while creating a warm environment that blends traditional and contemporary elements, per its website.

"Best Thai Food and Staff. Love Thai Golden!" exclaimed one Readers' Choice voter.

Another satisfied voter shared, "OMG! Everything! And great service as well!"

Owner Samantha Sriumpai expressed her gratitude.

"Thank you for the love and support!" she said. "We will continue to provide Carmel, Putnam County and the Lower Hudson Valley area with a blend of traditional and contemporary Thai food & drinks, support local musicians and artists through our events, and more!"
