Storm Knocks Out Power To More Than 30,000 In Rockland, Orange More than 30,000 O&R customers in Rockland and Orange remain without power as crews continue battling the Nor’easter at more than 500 active outages. As of 4:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon, crews were dealing with 507 active outages, which are affecting 31,032 customers in the Hudson Valley as wind gusts continue to whip at up to 60 mph in the area. In Orange County, 6,097 customers are experiencing power interruptions, with more than 1,000 customers in Deerpark and Warwick reporting outages.
