23-Year-Old Passenger Killed In Hudson Valley Crash
A Hudson Valley man who was a passenger in an Infiniti sedan was killed in a single-vehicle crash. The collision occurred in Dutchess County, in the town of Wappinger, at about 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, on All Angels Hill Road near Dugan Lane. According to Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, a preliminary investigation revealed that a 2007 Infiniti sedan with five occupants was traveling southbound on All Angels Hill Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle. Hudson Valley Will Get $24.2M In Funding For Transportation Enhancements
Citing a desire to improve air quality statewide, the Hudson Valley will receive $24.2 million in new funding for three projects that will support bicycle and pedestrian transportation. New York Gov. Man Charged In Ex-Wife's Murder Was President Of Sheriff's Employee Association
The 32-year-old man charged in the stabbing death of his wife late Thursday night was president of the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Employee Association who was serving as a sergeant in the county corrections division at the time of his arrest last week. Timothy Alexander of Poughkeepsie was charged with murder in the second degree, a Class A-1 felony. Have you seen him? An endangered man has gone missing in the area and police are asking the public's help in finding him. State Police in Wappinger issued an alert on Friday, July 20 related to the man, Mark Buchberger, who went missing on Monday, July 16 on All Angels Hill Road in the Hopewell Junction area of the town of Wappinger. Man Airlifted To Westchester Medical Center Dies After Single-Car Crash
A 44-year-old man who was airlifted to an area hospital following a single-vehicle crash has died. Christopher M. Baxter, of Staatsburg, died from his injuries once he arrived at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, according to Capt. John Watterson with the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office. Watterson said the crash occurred around 8 a.m. Monday on All Angels Hill Road in Wappinger. An investigation into the crash is underway, he added.
