The unidentified teen was sitting in a car on Nike Lane around 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, when he was arrested and charged with 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, police said.
He was released on $160 bail and is to appear in Orangetown Justice Court in May.
Orangetown police said they also have charged a Nyack man in connection with a domestic abuse case.
Police say they arrested Ronald King, 41, after he and a woman got into a fight near the intersection of Main and Cedar streets around 1:30 a.m. Friday.
King was charged with third-degree attempted assault, a misdemeanor; and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor.
King was released on his own recognizance and is to appear in court at a later, unspecified, date, police said.
