Lohud reports that the environmental group Riverkeeper has reported more than 120 sturgeon deaths, 46 so far in 2015, since work on the bridge began in 2012.
A spokeswoman with the National Marine Fisheries Service told LoHud that the agency knew about the situation before Riverkeeper raised the issue and was working with the Federal Highway Administration.
