Shooter On Run After Firing Multiple Shots Into Occupied Long Island Home
The search is on for a gunman who fired multiple shots into an occupied home on Long Island. Suffolk County Police were called about shots fired at a Mastic Beach residence on Alder Drive near Queen Road at around 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19. An investigation found that someone fired six shots toward the property, with two bullets striking the home. Nobody inside was injured. The suspect then fled on foot heading eastbound on Queen Road. Hit-Run Driver Sought After Injuring Woman Walking On Long Island
Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that injured a woman on Long Island. The incident happened in the Brookhaven hamlet of Sound Beach, on Sound Beach Boulevard, at around 10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12. Suffolk County Police said a Toyota Corolla was driving on South Beach Boulevard when it struck a 55-year-old woman and fled the scene. Authorities did not elaborate on the victim’s condition. The suspect in the death of a Long Island mother whose body was found stuffed in a suitcase was formally charged hours before her loved ones gathered to say their final goodbyes. Police are asking for help in identifying a man suspected in a broad-daylight assault and robbery at a Long Island pub. The incident happened in Bethpage, at the Susan’s Pub located on Railroad Avenue, at around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18. Nassau County Police said a masked man entered the bar and grabbed a 64-year-old male customer while demanding cash from the 64-year-old female bartender. The incident happened in Lawrence, at the Five Towns Shopping Center on Rockaway Turnpike, at around 8:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16. Police are investigating after a burglar made off with over $1,000 from a Long Island business. Police are searching for the person or persons responsible for pouring paint on banner expressing support for Israel at a Jewish center on Long Island. Woman Wearing Surgical Mask At Large After Bank Robbery At Long Island Chase Branch
A female suspect is at large after a bank robbery on Long Island. It happened just after 4:45 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6 in Selden. According to Suffolk County Police, a white woman wearing a surgical mask entered Chase Bank at 999 Middle Country Road and presented the teller with a note demanding money. The teller complied, and the suspect fled on foot with cash.
