Jose Rodriguez, 43, was arrested on robbery and related charges following an alleged theft at the Lawrence Target on Rockaway Turnpike on Tuesday, Feb. 4. Rodriguez entered the store at around 5:40 p.m. and proceeded to stuff stolen merchandise under his shirt and in his pants before exiting the business, Nassau County Police said. The break-in occurred in Lawrence, at the T-Mobile store located on Rockaway Turnpike, at around 5:15 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29. A man wearing all black clothing threw a rock through the front window and entered the business, Nassau County Police said. He proceeded to grab an unknown amount of cell phone accessories before fleeing the scene. Detectives asked anyone with information to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.

The incident happened in Lawrence, at the Five Towns Shopping Center on Rockaway Turnpike, at around 8:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16. Nassau County Police said a 54-year-old man was driving a pickup truck northbound on Rockaway Turnpike when he got into a road rage confrontation with another man driving a sedan.
