The front is being accompanied by strong winds that could gust up to 50 miles per hour with wind-chill factors that will make the temperature feel like it's in the teens during the day Wednesday despite bright sunny skies.
A Wind Advisory, issued by the National Weather Service, is in effect until 6 p.m. Wednesday.
A Wind Advisory is issued when sustained winds are between 31 to 39 mph or gusts of 46 to 57 mph are expected or occurring.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, said the National Weather Service, urging motorists to use extra caution.
Strong wind gusts could bring down trees and power lines, leading to outages.
Wednesday night will be clear with a low in the upper teens but wind-chill values between 10 and 15 degrees.
Thursday will be sunny,with a high in the upper 30s, but wind-chill values between 5 and 15.
There's a chance of rain and snow before 11 a.m. Friday, then a chance of rain, as the high temperature climbs to the mid to upper 40s.
