Four people were killed in a crash between a tractor-trailer and an SUV on a stretch of I-95 in Connecticut overnight. The crash happened just after 3 a.m. Saturday, May 13 in Fairfield County. The tractor-trailer was traveling at a very slow rate of speed in heavy traffic on the northbound side in the center lane of three, approximately one-tenth of a mile south of Exit 8 in Stamford, according to Connecticut State Police. Four, Including Three From Fairfield County, Killed In Wrong-Way I-95 Crash
Four people were killed in a head-on crash on I-95 in Connecticut. Police said the crash happened in the New Haven County town of Guilford at about 2:50 a.m. on Sunday, May 29. A 2009 Nissan Altima 2.5 S was going the wrong way, traveling north on I-95 south between exits 60 and 59, when it collided with a southbound 2012 Chevrolet Colorado LT, according to Connecticut State Police. Uber Driver Sentenced For Assaulting, Kidnapping Westchester Woman
A 25-year-old Uber driver has been sentenced after admitting to picking up a Westchester woman, kidnapping her and sexually assaulting her in his car before dropping her on the side of I-95 in Connecticut. Harbir Parmar, of Howard Beach in Queens, has been sentenced to three years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release after pleading guilty in White Plains federal court to kidnapping and wire fraud following his arrest on Oct. 16 last year.
