Registered Sex Offender Reports Change Of Address In Poughkeepsie

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. - A registered sex offender accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl has changed addresses in Poughkeepsie.

The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert on Thursday to Dutchess County residents regarding the residency of 32-year-old Stephen Pressley, who has moved into an apartment on Rose Street in Poughkeepsie.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Pressley as a level two threat, which means he is at "moderate risk of a repeat offense."

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Pressley had sexual intercourse with his 14-year-old victim in Poughkeepsie in March 2009. He was arrested by the Poughkeepsie Town Police Department and sentenced to 18 months in state prison.
