What Makes It "Strong": This arty chill-out spot with eclectic furniture and welcoming baristas offers espresso, craft beer and light bites such as wraps, salads, and soups from Fishkill Bagel. Most of its coffee comes from Coffee Lab Roasters, a Tarrytown hot spot, but it does a bit of in-house roasting of beans as well.

Expect to find a house blend of the day, decaf of the day, lattes, cappuccinos, Breve, Americano, macchiato, con panna, café au lait, cortado, and espresso (triple ristretto shots). If coffee isn’t your thing, they also have more than two dozen types of tea. For a nibble with your hot or cold drinks, there are breads and pastries from the legendary Bread Alone and gluten-free treats from North Brooklyn Eats.

In warmer weather, folks can enjoy their caffeine while people watching on a charming, canine friendly, patio. And if they want to take some iced coffee home, Bank Square has growlers available.
