Meyer's Olde Dutch recently opened its doors to a full bar and menu service, having only been serving burgers since May at its location at 184 Main Street, replacing Poppy's.
Brian Arnoff, who runs Meyer's, said he is committed to sourcing local ingredients. His beef will come from the Hudson Valley Cattle Company and cheese will come from McCadam Cheese, both based in New York.
"It's important to know where your product comes from," Arnoff, who also runs Kitchen Sink Food and Drink, said.
At Meyer's, Arnoff said he hopes to get creative, offering a vegan burger and a lamb jam. Arnoff said the secret to a good burger is cooking it on a hot flattop grill.
"Our burgers are caramelized on the outside and juicy on the inside," Arnoff said.
