Might this lucky ticket be yours? A winning lottery ticket worth $50,000 was sold at a convenience store on Long Island. The third prize-winning Powerball ticket was purchased in Bethpage, at the 7-Eleven located at 497 Stewart Avenue, for the drawing held Saturday, Nov. 30, according to New York Lottery. Saturday’s winning Powerball numbers are 4-24-29-39-63 and the Powerball is 25. Players can check their ticket status on the New York Lottery website.

Massapequa 17-Year-Old Who Died During Hockey Game Was 'Beacon Of Sportsmanship, Leadership'
The Long Island hockey community is mourning the loss of a rising young star who collapsed and died during a charity game over Thanksgiving weekend. Connor Kasin, age 17, lost consciousness at around 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, during an intermission at the Town of Oyster Bay Skating Center on Stewart Avenue in Bethpage, Nassau County Police said. Kasin, a senior defenseman at Massapequa High School, was given CPR by bystanders and, later, Nassau County Police medics. He was pronounced dead a short time later at a hospital. Police are asking for help in identifying a man suspected in a broad-daylight assault and robbery at a Long Island pub. The incident happened in Bethpage, at the Susan’s Pub located on Railroad Avenue, at around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18. One person suffered critical injuries in an overnight crash on Long Island. It happened on Wednesday, June 26, in Bethpage. A teen girl was seriously injured after she was hit by a SUV in a Long Island intersection. It happened on Thursday, June 6 in Bethpage, Nassau County Police said.
