Person Jumps From Bridge In Hudson Valley
Dive teams, fire departments, and EMS personnel are searching for a person who jumped from a bridge in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge in Beacon around 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17. Driver Flown to Hospital After Truck Rolls Over On I-84 In Hudson Valley
An interstate in the Hudson Valley was temporarily closed after a truck overturned, injuring the driver. The crash happened in Putnam County on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 10, when a truck crashed on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 84 just east of Route 312 in Brewster, according to the Brewster Fire Department. As a result of the crash, the driver became trapped inside the truck's twisted structure. A driver was hospitalized after their vehicle plunged down an embankment in the Hudson Valley. The crash happened in Putnam County on Saturday, Sept. 7, when an SUV crashed into the woods at around 1:40 a.m. in the area of Nicholas Way in Mahopac, according to the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department. A busy Hudson Valley road was closed for around an hour after a vehicle crashed over the guardrail into the woods. The crash happened in Putnam County on Sunday, Aug. 18 around 3:30 p.m., when a car crashed over a guardrail on Route 32 (Crane Road) in the area of Angela Drive in the town of Carmel, according to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department. No injuries were reported and both the driver and passenger refused ambulance trips. Route 32 was closed for about an hour as the vehicle was towed away.

A man was killed after being struck by multiple vehicles on a roadway in the region.
