Tilson Man, 43, Fatally Struck After Breaking Down On NY Thruway A 43-year-old man from the region was fatally struck after leaving his broken-down car on a busy interstate in Westchester.  The crash occurred just before 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28, in Yonkers, New York State Police announced on Tuesday, Dec. 3. At the time of the crash, the victim, identified as 43-year-old Ulster County resident Christopher Colom of Tilson, had been operating a 2011 Honda Accord when his vehicle broke down in the left lane of the highway, police said. Barstool Sports Lending Support To Family Of Teacher From Region Killed In Murder-Suicide Following a horrific murder-suicide that left a beloved Westchester teacher and mom dead, community members and media company Barstool Sports are coming to the aid of her three children.  The outpouring of support follows the death of Eastchester Union Free School District teacher Arlene O’Neill, age 47, who was killed in a shooting at her Yonkers home on Chittenden Avenue on Wednesday morning, Oct. 16.  According to police, O’Neill, a fifth-grade teacher at the Anne Hutchinson School, was fatally shot by her husband, retired New York City Police Department officer…
