SUV Crashes Into Hudson Valley Home An SUV plowed into the front of a Hudson Valley home after being in a crash with a school bus.  The incident occurred in Rockland County on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Laurel Road and Glenside Drive in New City. According to the Clarkstown Police, the SUV struck a Clarkstown Central School District bus while turning left onto Laurel Road.  A preliminary report indicated the SUV was traveling above the speed limit, causing it to veer off the roadway and strike a nearby house, police said. Man From Region Asleep In Busy Traffic Lane, Crashes Into Numerous Cars, Police Say Aman who was allegedly asleep behind the wheel of his car on a roadway in the Hudson Valley woke up when police arrived, crashed into numerous vehicles, and attempted to flee, injuring several people.  The incident occurred in Rockland County in Spring Valley at 6:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28. Westchester Toddler Killed After Being Struck By SUV A 3-year-old girl from Westchester was killed after being struck by an SUV while crossing the street in New York City. The incident happened just after 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 11 in Manhattan at West 135th Street and Lenox Avenue, outside of Harlem Hospital. According to ABC 7, The driver of the Nissan SUV attempted to take the toddler by foot to the hospital, but she was pronounced dead. She has been identified as Jaynelyse Valdez of New Rochelle.
