Fire At Gas Station In Hudson Valley Draws Multi-Agency Response (Developing) Emergency crews are battling a fire at a Hudson Valley gas station. Firefighters in Sullivan County responded to the Gulf Station in South Fallsburg, located at State Route 42 and Russell street, for a structure fire shortly after 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12. Photos shared by the Woodbridge Fire Department showed a residential building adjacent to the convenience store on fire. It was not immediately clear whether flames had spread to the Gulf Station. One Dead, 1 Hospitalized Following Head-On Crash In Region One man is dead, and another is hospitalized following a head-on crash in Sullivan County. The incident occurred around 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 23, at the intersection of Cignarale Road in Loch Sheldrake. According to Sullivan County Undersheriff Eric Chaboty, the crash involved a 2012 Toyota Sienna minivan driven by John Bullock, age 60, of Loch Sheldrake, and a 2015 Buick Encore operated by Benjamin DeVault, age 19, of Hurleyville.  Bullock, an Ellenville High School graduate, was traveling northbound when his vehicle collided with DeVault’s southbound Buick Encore, Chaboty said…

Driver Killed After Crossing Yellow Line, Crashing Into School Bus, Police Say The driver of a Lincoln MKX was killed after crossing the double yellow line on Route 52 and striking a school bus, said the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office.The crash took place around 745 a.m., Monday, Sept. 16, on Route 52 at the Liberty/Fallsburg town line, said Undersheriff Eric Chaboty.
