The incidents occurred in the Airmont area during the early morning hours of Saturday, Dec. 7, and Sunday, Dec. 8, said Det. Sgt. Michael Higgins with the Ramapo Police. Higgins said there had been seven victims and several other attempted larcenies from locked vehicles. "The majority of the victims had left their vehicles unlocked," Higgins said. The break-ins occurred in Dutchess County on Thursday, Oct. 24, and Friday, Oct. 25, on the following Poughkeepsie roadways: Main Street S. Hamilton Street Parker Avenue Catharine Street Franklin Street Civic Center Plaza.  These incidents are currently under investigation. Multiple vehicles were broken into early on Friday, July 15, in Yorktown, in the Shrub Oak and Mohegan Lake areas, according to Yorktown Police.
