John W. Lynch, who was hired at an annual salary of $140,000, joins the town’s payroll at a time when Supervisor Christopher St. Lawrence and Aaron Troodler, former executive director of the Ramapo Local Development Corp., face federal charges in connection with the alleged manipulation of Ramapo’s finances, according to lohud.com.
Lynch, 61, was hired July 18 as Ramapo’s first financial director since 2008, according to lohud.com, which reported that St. Lawrence described the accountant as a "strategic leader."
