Ramapo Police Officers Respond To 109 Calls For Help

RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Ramapo police officers responded to 109 calls for service on Saturday, authorities said.

The incidents included six medical emergencies, five fire calls and 17 alarm activations, according to officials.

Arrests included charges for unlawful possession of marijuana, a bench warrant for Suffern Village Court, assault, second-degree menacing, DWI and two traffic misdemeanors, police report.

Ramapo police also investigated four motor vehicle accidents on Saturday.

Sites of the accidents included North Main Street in Hillcrest, Route 59 in Airmont, North Airmont Road in Airmont and Ewing Avenue in Hillcrest, police report.
