Monsey Man Charged With Assaulting Girlfriend, Ramapo Police Say

RAMAPO, N.Y. – A 24-year-old Monsey man is facing assault charges in connection with a domestic violence incident, Ramapo police said.

Police said they responded to a medical call on Friday, April 22, and arrested the victim’s live-in boyfriend.

Police also said they investigated seven car accidents at the following locations: Viola Road, Viola (1); Hoover Lane, New Hempstead (1); Horton Drive, Monsey (1); . Saddle River Road, Monsey (2); and Route 59, Monsey (2).

They answered a total of 113 calls for service Friday, including: four medical emergencies, 10 fires, and 13 alarm activations.
