Men May Have Information About Suspicious Sloatsburg Death

SLOATSBURG, N.Y. -- Ramapo police are asking for help in identifying three men who may have been in the area of where a Middletown man was found dead next to a burning car in Sloatsburg.

Ossen Lavaud, 48, of Middletown, was found outside a burned Ford Taurus near a wastewater treatment plant on Waldron Terrace early Tuesday, said Ramapo police.

Police said the men may be witnesses and may have information to help in the investigation into Lavaud's death.

Anyone who has information as to the men's identit, or can identify the logo on the blue shirt is asked to call 845-357-2400.
