The old-fashioned candy store started in 2003, when owners Lauren Brophy and Leigh Petroski ventured out of their corporate jobs to find a future where they could control their destiny.

That May, the pair secured a Bed and Breakfast in Glenwood, New Jersey, which they spruced up and brought back to life with their sweet creations.

Business opened there in 2005 and a decade later, on Main Street in Warwick.

The shoppe offers fresh fudge in dozens of flavors from birthday cake to coconut cream pie, customized and seasonal chocolates and of course, candy apples that are out of this world.

Flavors ranged from basic chocolate or caramel-covered apples to S'mores, English toffee, cotton candy and more.

Candy Apple Shoppe is located at 30 Main St., Warwick.
