Nassau County 22-Year-Old Found With Items Stolen From Vehicle, Police Say A 22-year-old Long Island man was arrested after police said he was found in possession of items stolen from a vehicle. Shawn Harvey, of Hempstead, was arrested in Mineola at 3 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 6, and charged with criminal possession of stolen property, according to the Nassau County Police Department. NCPD said a 31-year-old woman noticed items missing from her vehicle, which was parked on Pennsylvania Avenue. Police said the missing items included an iPhone and a pink Dior bag. Long Island Trio In Stolen Car Apprehended After Foot Chase, Police Say Two Long Island men and one juvenile are all facing a host of charges after being apprehended following a foot chase after fleeing a stolen car, police said. All three are from Hempstead: Shawn Harvey, age 22; Jamil Davis-Taylor, age 18; and a 17-year-old boy. Trio Nabbed For Stealing Car From Garage Of Long Island Home Three suspects were busted on Long Island after allegedly stealing a car out of a garage. The Nassau County Police Department received a report of a stranger entering a garage on Oak Ridge Lane in Albertson shortly after 8 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27, prompting an investigation. Police said that investigators later located the vehicle on Taylor Avenue in Westbury, and proceeded to see three men enter it.
