Steven Della Rocca of Southport died Monday, May 27 surrounded by his family and friends. He was 64. Rocca was born in Brooklyn on March 17, 1955, to Joan and Dominick Della Rocca. Services Scheduled For Marine From Locust Valley Killed In Afghanistan Services have been scheduled for a Marine from Long Island who was killed in Afghanistan and will be buried at Calverton National Cemetery. There will be visiting hours for Marine Sgt. Robert Hendriks from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, at Whitting Funeral Home on Glen Cove Avenue in Glen Head. There will be a graveside service at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday at Calverton.
