A Nassau County judge cited “procedural grounds” for dismissing the misdemeanor assault charges against Kimberly Gotti, age 55, and Gianna Gotti, age 23, on Tuesday, Oct. 1. “We await the judge’s written decision and will review our options,” a spokesperson for the DA’s office told Daily Voice. Steven Della Rocca, Area Attorney Who Raced Sailboats, Dies At 64 A Fairfield County attorney who grew up on Long Island, raced sailboats and liked to golf and ski, and is being remembered as a "gentleman" with a "dry sense of humor." Steven Della Rocca of Southport died Monday, May 27 surrounded by his family and friends. He was 64. Rocca was born in Brooklyn on March 17, 1955, to Joan and Dominick Della Rocca. He grew up in Upper Brookville and attended Locust Valley High School.  He was a Benjamin Franklin Scholar at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, earning his B.S. in 1977 and his J.D. from the New York University School of …

Services Scheduled For Marine From Locust Valley Killed In Afghanistan Services have been scheduled for a Marine from Long Island who was killed in Afghanistan and will be buried at Calverton National Cemetery. There will be visiting hours for Marine Sgt. Robert Hendriks from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, at Whitting Funeral Home on Glen Cove Avenue in Glen Head. There will be a graveside service at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday at Calverton.
