Know Him? Man Wanted For Long Island Burglaries
Police on Long Island are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a man wanted in connection with an alleged burglary and another attempted burglary.
The burglary took place in Franklin Square around 2:50 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 28 at the CardSmart store located at 326 Dogwood Ave.
According to Nassau County detectives, the man broke the front glass door of the business and removed the ATM machine, an undetermined amount of cash, a laptop, lottery tickets, and multiple cartons of cigarettes before fleeing the scene in a dark-colored SUV.

Man Struck, Killed By SUV At Busy Brentwood Intersection
Police are investigating an overnight crash at a Long Island intersection that left a man dead.
It happened around 6:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27 in Brentwood.
A 32-year-old Franklin Square woman was driving a 2021 Acura RDX northbound on Wicks Road, when the vehicle struck a pedestrian in the roadway at the intersection of Merrill Street, Suffolk County Police said.
The pedestrian, Jose Cruz, age 75, of Brentwood, was transported by Brentwood Legion Ambulance to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was pronounced dead.

A Long Island man was arrested for allegedly slashing a man multiple times in the face and arm following a confrontation.
Aaron Conrad, 33, of Far Rockaway, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 7 for the incident which took place around 5:10 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 8, in Franklin Square, said the Nassau County Police.
