Gill, age 53, of Red Hook, was killed after jumping from the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge on Monday, March 8, said AJ Hicks of the New York State Police. The crash occurred at approximately 6 p.m., in the area of Vlei Road in the town of Rhinebeck. Initial investigation suggests Robert J. Dancy, 35, of Worchester, New York, operating a 1997 Ford Explorer, was traveling southbound on Route 9G, and drove to the left of the center lane markings. Dancy then struck Emily R.
