Man Caught With Large Amount Of PCP During Drug Bust At Yorktown Home: Police A 45-year-old man was apprehended after a search of his Northern Westchester home resulted in the discovery of large amounts of drugs, police announced.  Yorktown resident Lamar Kingwood was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 12 following a search of his residence, Yorktown Police said on Friday, Nov. 15.  According to the department, at 6 a.m. on the day of Kingwood's arrest, Yorktown officers as well as federal and local law enforcement executed a search warrant at his home at the Underhill Crossing apartments on Underhill Avenue.  Inside, investigators found a "large quantity" of …

Man Slashes Tires Of 22 Hospital Workers In Northern Westchester, Police Say A suspect has been charged after nearly two dozen hospital staffers who ended shifts battling the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic found the tires on their vehicles slashed. It happened in Northern Westchester at the New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt. At about 7 a.m. Friday, April 10, state police say they received a report of criminal mischief. An investigation determined Daniel Hall, 29, of Peekskill, slashed the tires on 22 vehicles parked in the hospital parking lot, state police said.
